ASA Joins AERO to Meet up with Aviation Manufacturers

ASA participated in AERO Friedrichshafen on April 20th to the 23rd. It was quite an interesting experience for ASA. AERO Friedrichshafen is a trade show dedicated to European general aviation.This aviation convention attracts more than 600 exhibitors from 35 countries, 600 journalists and 33,000 visitors every year. AERO Friedrichshafen is the international community’s annual meeting place. This years show had a good turn out and ASA met up with many companies and manufacturers to share the experience of Chinas market. There are quite a few companies such as: Diamond Aircraft, Glasair,JMB Aircraft, and Shark Aero are all already set up in China. But there are still more companies who are looking for the opportunity to reach China’s potential market. ASA will team up with them to provide an aviation development platform to help them with any necessary process needs. ASA has selected several potential companies to invite and sponsor them to join the Anyang Aviation Expo held in China on May 27th to the 29th. Furthermore, ASA will help make arrangements with business development.

ATOL Avion is a company located in Finland that specializes in amphibious aircraft, product development and prototypes. The co-founder and sales director of ATOL, Anssi Rekula, has told ASA that Shapland Investments LTD has made an agreement to purchase 25% of the shares of their company, and also they will set up the production line in China after 3-5 years later; “These next few years will be focused on distributing and sales, we are interested in teaming up with ASA to set up and operate a seaplane base to educate and train seaplane pilots to prepare for the future market” -Anssi. ASA President, Shudong Li, is very impressed with the design and functionalities of ATOL’s aircraft. He is really looking forward to involve and support ATOL’s future project in China.

It has been a busy but exciting week for ASA. ASA has gained many light sport manufacturers as members thanks to the AERO event. ASA’s goal is to create an international exchange platform to serve and support aero sports and general aviation developments. We will work together to serve those members to have success in their China market developments.
