San Jose State University Aviation Program Ranked Fourth In United States and Ranked First On The West Coast

In 1936, San Jose State University aviation department was formed. As World War II approached, SJSU became one of thirteen schools which offer the aviation undergraduate program in the United States. Since then, San Jose State University has been serving students who are interested in aviation business, aviation technology, pilot career, and aircraft maintenance.

SJSU aviation program ranked fourth in United States and ranked first on the West Coast. This achievement is due to the efforts from both faculties and students at San Jose State University. Students often attend club meetings and competitions for various aviation programs. San Jose State University’s aviation project received great attention and recognition from the U.S. government.

2. South Dakota State University
3. Ohio State University
4. San Jose State University

San Jose State University college of aviation is also one of the member schools of Aero Sports Association (ASA). In 2017, ASA and Anyang Institute of Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and there will be a summer aviation exchange program in May 2018 between the two universities. ASA will also assist international undergraduate students enrolled into aviation program.
